Davyhulme Primary School, Davyhulme
Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

A FINAL AND SURPRISE GOODBYE TO OUR WONDERFUL COOK - SUE WYNNE AFTER 39 YEARS !!

24th Jul 2020

Thank you to all members of staff who turned up at our Risk Assessed Socially ,Distanced Gathering to say thank you and goodbye to Sue who has served our school so faithfully over the years. Covid19 robbed Sue of her 'Big DO' but School felt that her departure should be marked ( responsibily of course ) in some way and the majority of staff agreed - thank you once again Sue and best wishes for your retirement. Doesn't she look great ?!
