Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

Brighter Futures in Year 5

7th Feb 2018

As part of our Brighter Futures careers week, Year 5 enjoyed a visit from Jake's mum. She is an accountant who works for the NHS. She told us all about her career and we enjoyed carrying activities in groups to estimate the costing for each service in the NHS. We also had the opportunity to ask Jake's mum questions about her career. We found this talk very interesting and inspiring. Thank you to Jake's mum for giving up your time today.
