Davyhulme Primary School, Davyhulme
Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

Fabulous Friday French

14th Jan 2018

The Autumn Term was extremely busy with all the children working very hard on their language skills.  Here are just some of the activities including: some of the Year 2 pupils singing the authentic French song 'Savez-vous planter les choux?'; the children from Class 3A performing the traditional French finger rhyme 'Monsieur Pouce'; some of the children from Years 5 and 6 developing their conversational skills and some of the Year 6 pupils practising some number work and reading aloud French storybooks to the rest of the class.
