Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

That’s the end of the Cross Country season!

9th Mar 2019

Well that’s the end of the Cross Country season! What a fantastic season it’s been, we have taken the most medals across all schools this year- well done to everybody!

Today’s relay races could have been held in better weather, but that didn’t stop us; once again, we took the most medals:

Year 6 Girls Team: Gold & Silver

Year 6Boys Team: Bronze

Year 5 Boys Team: Gold

The Year 5 Girls Team narrowly missed out on Bronze!

Thank you to all the boys and girls who have run this season, you can have your Saturday mornings back now!

Finally, a massive thank you to all the parents, carers and grandparents who have also given up their Saturdays to stand in the cold blustery wind and support our wonderful children!
