To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday, we held a very special Coronation Tea Party. We invited a very special guest who is a past pupil of Davyhulme Junior School. She remembers the day when Queen Elizabeth II was crowned, and she enjoyed sharing some of her very special memories with the children. Our visitor recalls having the honour of being chosen to plant a tree in Davyhulme Park to commemorate the Queen’s Coronation in 1953. After the tea party, we went to visit this very special tree in the park. It was a very special, and very happy afternoon.
