Saturday 28th September saw the return of the cross country season with Trafford Athletics. What a day! A perfect autumn morning. Davyhulme showed up in their usual numbers with children from Year 4- 6 running for the school. The children did remarkably well:
Year 6 Boys Team: Gold
Year 6 Girls Team: Gold
Year 5 Boys Team: Gold
Year 5 Girls Team: Gold
A big shout out to our Year 4 runners, who because of the way the races are organised, run against Year 5s.
Well done to Eliza C. who came 1st place in the Year 6 girls race; Sam W. who came 2nd in the Year 6 boys race; and Connie S who came 1st place in the Year 5 girls race!
Cross Country isn’t just about coming first, second, or third, it is a team sport and all of the children worked hard for their team.

Remember, due to staff training, there will be no training session this week (30th).
There is currently a waiting list for cross country training, so if your child is interested please make this aware to Mr. Reynolds.
