Jubilee Picnic
The children in the Juniors enjoyed a lovely afternoon today celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee. It really was a perfect afternoon, making many happy memories to last a lifetime. We began our celebrations by watching some may pole dancing, led by the very talented Miss Williams. The children then took part in a parade to show the crowns they had made at home. We were all so impressed by the amazing designs! The P.T.A. had the difficult task of selecting the winning design from each class. After this, we then enjoyed having our picnics on the field. Mrs Smithson was our D.J.for the afternoon, and we all enjoyed having a dance and playing some party games. It felt a little piece of Glastonbury in Davyhulme! Thank you to everyone who supported this event. It really was a team effort. We are now looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow in the Infants!
