The children in 6B have been working with Miss Brookes on a project called 'The Heartstone Project'. It is based on the book 'The Heartstone Odyssey' which tells the story of a young Indian dancer and a quest that she goes on to find the heartstone. It covers lots of deep issues linked to racism, prejudice, tolerance, acceptance, diversity, etc. The children have had lots of deep and meaningful discussions about things that happen in the book and have produced some lovely artwork.
