After a busy few weeks , having begun with 33 players the contest has come down to the last 4 players. On the way Joseph got beaten by Daniel then beat Harrison only to be beaten by Daniel again as we tried to manage the numbers for the final crucial rounds. Jack did the best he ever did only to lose out to James W. who used a 'death move ' on him. Kady can be proud to have been the highest finishing girl by making it to the quarter finals. The semi -finals will be played on Monday with Matthew playing James W and Will playing James C - we will soon have our Y6 ' Knock Out ' Champion for 2017 -2018. Of course every Y6 who wants to will be automatically entered into the Chess League after Christmas.
