Year 2 Lowry Workshop with Artist Michelle Leigh!

The children in Year 2 have taken part in a wonderful Lowry workshop on Monday and Tuesday this week. We were joined by the talented artist, Michelle Leigh who works for the Lowry art outreach programme. The children were immersed in the life of Lowry and spent the day learning his famous artistic techniques! The children learned about: perspective drawing; cross-hatching for shading; techniques to draw people as Lowry once did; and many more!
