As part of our History curriculum, Year 5 have been enjoying learning about World War II. Today, our children enjoyed visiting Stockport Air Raid shelters to find out more about how the war affected the lives of local people. The children enjoyed touring the underground tunnels, and also handling artefacts and dressing up! It was a fantastic trip, and really brought history to life for our pupils.
